On February 2nd 2010, our dear friend, Legrand Strickland was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Northern Pakistan while serving with the US Army.  His injuries are numerous, but HOPE prevails.

This site is dedicated to keeping you updated with what is happening with Legrand’s medical condition and treatment; Carrie’s whereabouts and updates from her; how Noah and Nathan are doing; and a variety of other information.

We realize there are many people across the United States and across the World that are lifting this family up to God in prayer.  We ask that you continue to do so.  Please check out the Prayer page to see how you can specifically pray for the family.

In an effort to alleviate much of the communication burden for Carrie, we have created this site for you to get updates and to share with your family, friends, churches and co-workers.  For those of you close to Legrand and Carrie, please refrain from calling or texting unless solicited.  This is not meant to be offensive to you, but to help streamline communication.  Everyone is thirsty for information.  Please be patient, as this site will be updated frequently as new information is made available.

Carrie is physically, emotionally and spiritually drained at this point.  We must do all that we can to ensure that we all protect and guard her.  By standardizing the way information is given out, the load will be lightened for her.
